Members of the Pagosa Mountain Morning Rotary Club will participate in the 2013 Festival of Trees that will take place at the Ross Aragon Community Center on December 6.

20 trees will be on display for public voting on December 5th, with the top 10 trees being place in a live auction on December 6th. The remaining 10 trees will be available to purchase at a silent auction on the same night. Proceeds from the tree sales are given to the nonprofit organization who sponsored the tree.

Although a theme has not yet been chosen for the Morning Rotary tree, club members decided to use the proceeds from the tree to sponsor a family or families for the Christmas holiday, which is something the club has done in the past. The sponsored family will receive a City Market gift card to purchase a holiday meal, as well as wrapped gifts for each member of the family based on their wishes.

Please join the community of Pagosa Springs by participating in this wonderful fundraiser! Stop by the Community Center on December 5th to cast your vote for your favorite tree, and attend the Festival of Trees on Friday, December 6th to take part in the auctions and bring a tree home, or just enjoy the occasion.
